EMF protection
EMF protection is the collective term for measures that reduce physical exposure to electromagnetic fields: distance from the source, source reduction, and RF shielding. The HARTMANN energy-informatics space protection is a different, methodological approach that does not measurably reduce the RF field strength.
What is EMF?
EMF (electromagnetic field) is a physically measurable field arising around alternating electric current and radio-frequency sources. Its two main ranges are low-frequency (e.g. the household grid at 50 Hz) and radio-frequency (Wi-Fi, mobile, 4G, 5G).
Reducing physical exposure
Established physical methods: distance from the source (field strength falls with the square of the distance), source reduction (switching Wi-Fi off at night, preferring wired connections), and RF shielding where warranted. These methods produce a measurably verifiable reduction.
The limits are set by national authorities and international guidelines (ICNIRP).
HARTMANN energy-informatics space protection
The HARTMANN methodology also interprets EMF with radiesthetic methods, and offers the 5D PROTECT (L and XL) energy-informatics space-protection device. According to the manufacturer, the device does not measurably reduce the RF field strength; its operation is space harmonisation in the manufacturer's worldview.
Physical exposure reduction and the HARTMANN approach are therefore different and do not substitute for one another.
Frequently asked questions
What is EMF?
EMF (electromagnetic field) is a physically measurable field arising around electric current and radio-frequency sources. Two ranges: low-frequency and radio-frequency.
How can EMF exposure be reduced?
With physical methods: distance from the source, source reduction and RF shielding. Field strength falls with the square of the distance.
Does the HARTMANN device reduce EMF?
According to the manufacturer, the 5D PROTECT does not measurably reduce the RF field strength; its operation is energy-informatics space harmonisation in the manufacturer's worldview.
