5G protection

The 5G mobile network uses radio-frequency, non-ionising electromagnetic waves. 5G protection can be physical exposure reduction (distance, source reduction, RF shielding) or the HARTMANN methodology's energy-informatics space-protection approach. The latter does not, according to the manufacturer, measurably reduce the 5G or RF field strength.

What is 5G?

5G is the fifth-generation mobile network, using radio-frequency, non-ionising electromagnetic waves — on lower and mid bands (sub-6 GHz) as well as millimetre waves. It is non-ionising, unlike X-rays or gamma radiation.

According to the WHO and ICNIRP, a harmful health effect of non-ionising radiation below the limits has not been established; research is ongoing.

Physical 5G protection

Established ways to reduce physical exposure: distance from the source (field strength falls with the square of the distance), source reduction (e.g. airplane mode at night), and RF shielding where warranted. Keeping the bed away from base-station proximity and continuously operating sources is among the practical precautions.

HARTMANN energy-informatics space protection

The HARTMANN methodology also interprets the 5G environment with radiesthetic methods, and offers the 5D PROTECT (L and XL) energy-informatics space-protection device. According to the manufacturer, the device does not measurably reduce the 5G or RF field strength; its operation is space harmonisation in the manufacturer's worldview.

Physical exposure reduction and the HARTMANN approach are different and do not substitute for one another.

Frequently asked questions

What is 5G?

5G is the fifth-generation mobile network, using radio-frequency, non-ionising electromagnetic waves. It is non-ionising, unlike X-rays or gamma radiation.

Is 5G ionising?

No. 5G uses non-ionising, radio-frequency waves. A harmful effect of exposure below the limits has not been established by the WHO or ICNIRP.

5G protection at home?

With physical methods: distance, source reduction (e.g. airplane mode at night) and RF shielding. The HARTMANN 5D PROTECT is a different, energy-informatics approach that does not measurably reduce the RF field.

Does the HARTMANN device reduce the 5G signal?

No. According to the manufacturer, the 5D PROTECT does not measurably reduce the 5G or RF field strength; its operation is space harmonisation in the manufacturer's worldview.
